The Corus Hyde Park Hotel is housed in a traditional, free-standing building with a white, stucco-clad Georgian façade. Accessible via an entrance flanked by columns, the medium sized lobby is elegantly appointed with a marble floor and soft furnishings. Also medium sized, the 390 guestrooms are decorated in an understated, contemporary style, with the pale walls complemented by patterned fabrics. All are clean and well maintained, as are the small, tiled en suite bathrooms. The Olio Bar and Restaurant offers a varied choice of meals to suit every budget – from a light bar snack to a freshly prepared meal – all served in a bright and lively atmosphere overlooking Hyde Park.
A new arrival to Corus Hotel Hyde Park is the Bel Canto restaurant that offers an eclectic mix of food and opera. The venue combines opera and fine dining with an elegant twist as all the waiting staff are talented young opera stars of the future.
The venue offers young professionals the chance to interact with the public while performing arias from Verdi, Puccini, Mozart and many more.
At regular intervals during the evening up to four of the performers will burst into song, moving between the tables while belting out opera classics.
