The Hyde Park Towers occupies a row of Victorian townhouses with elegant cream and brown façades, situated in a quiet leafy terrace in Bayswater. Though fairly small, the lobby features pastel décor, complemented by wood fittings, a salmon toned marble floor and an impressive chandelier. There is also a small bar with additional seating adjoining. The 115 guestrooms have been renovated in recent years and are full of natural light. They are decorated in a pale, neutral style and have light wood furnishings. All are decently maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms.
With attractive red and cream décor, the hotel’s restaurant, overlooking the street, is one of its most attractive features. Its menu is light and relaxed, featuring simple dishes like traditional fish and chips, or pasta pepperonata. The hotel also offers a Continental-style buffet breakfast from 07.00 to 10.00. Alternatively, in the bar and lounge area guests can watch television while enjoying a fresh coffee or traditional English tea, enjoy a chilled bottle of beer, or sip on a delicious red wine while watching the world go by.
